Knock is usually a rod bearing, most often caused by lack of oil, but not always
I think the 3B might be too heavy for the minitrucks. It's a great engine but it does weigh a lot, after all it is a 3.4L, while every other option in the pickups was from a 2.0L to a 2.4L. The pickup already is very light in the back, and the Trekker, being all fiberglass is even lighter. You would have no traction unless you hauled around +300lbs of crap in the back at all times.
Who would haul around +300lbs of crap all the time 
Never heard anyone complain when they broke down and I had the parts and tools to get them home

So I called the fellow, somehow it got posted to Edmonton, the seller is in NB and somehow the price was supposed to be 11,000...Oh well.
That sucks. Trying to lure in some rich oil patch people is he?
