Thanks y'all for the helpful guidance. Sounds like the consensus is that it's nothing wrong with suspension, just older tires that haven't been rotated/balanced regularly and that aren't necessarily the proper load range appropriate for a land cruiser of this era. Thanks!!

I might have another symptom you might want to check, in the rear at least.

I had uneven wear on my rear tires. I also discovered a bad inner seal when I had a puncture on the trail and found diff oil on the lugs and lug nuts.

Time for a seal and bearing refresh on the rear axle and my first rear axle rebuild after 3 on the front.

Once I dug in there I found some decent play with the bearing lock ring and some wear on the locking plate. After 22 years with the original bearings and settings from the factory, the bearings had worked their way ever so loose at least on the passenger side. Multiply that play at the bearings up to the outer tire 35" diameter and I think I identified 1 of possibly many reasons for the uneven wear. Another indication was 1 of the lock screws on the lock ring was jammed in there. The lock ring had some loose play that could be jiggled by hand and that 1 screw appeared to take the majority of the abuse.

Compared to the fronts, a rear axle rebuild is super easy. Might be a good idea to check the bearing load and a possible bearing refresh?
