There seems to be more tire models for 285/75/16. And the 295s are only ~.5" bigger. The consensus seems to be that all 285/75/16 will fit without rubbing while some 295s, particularly MTs, rub.

Makes sense. The 295's seem to be the perfect size for my 1.5" lift, but that's probably not a popular lift height either.

Based on the survey and reading around here, I was planning to put on some 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers. Also they seem like they'd be the quietest. But recently I've been thinking about trying the Goodyear Duratracs.

Is anyone running these? How is road noise compared to OEM Michellin LTX and Nitto Terra G? Anyone have experience with Duratrac tread life?
