I have a 2004 LC bone stock, cranked torsion bars, no running boards and LTX MS 2's 265/75/R18's. I know discount just switches the fronts from drivers side to passenger side and does the same with the rear.

Is this the best rotation sequence for these vehicles or should I be cross rotating front to back?

I did a quick search on this site and did not find anything that helped.

Thanks in advance.

That makes no sense, maybe you were making a joke about no running boards.

I know the owners manual says move front to back and back to front but is this the best way? I do not rotate my spare in, just the four tires that are on the ground

I use the "Rearward Cross" rotation recommended by TireRack:

What if you don't have a spare in the rotation? Then what's the best method?

I like this one:

Hi Gaijin,
so what will be the swap cycle if you have 2 factory spares (same type)? Also at what mileage this tire swap is recommended? I'm at 10,000Km now. Thanks

Use this one, just add a second spare:

So the rotation would be:

Spare 1 > RR > RF > LR > LF > Spare 2 > Spare 1

The more aggressively you drive, the more often you should rotate; but if you rotate every 10,000 km you should be fine.

Thanks Gaijan
