Short story, slice in my sidewall on the junk Goodyear Territory DS front. No idea when or where. Leaning on just replacing them all. Will stay stock size. Had Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx on my Landcruiser and liked them. Local tire shop I've used for 40 years and they offroad also suggests Falken Wildpeak A/T4W as alternative. Falkens are $100 less per tire as they are regular load, not heavy load for the Coopers. I don't offroad as much as I did in the LC.
Also noticed on the spare rim a sticker saying temporary use only. Rim weaker? Same tire.
Pic of slice and temp sticker.

I'm leaning towards the same Wildpeaks as my next set, coming from the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss.

The sidewall scratch doesn’t look too bad. Still holding air?
The temporary sticker seems temporary as if it will peel right off! I imagine the rim must be sufficiently strong for the vehicle. I’ve driven miles on steel “temporary” rims. Perhaps it just looks different than the rest of your rims.
As for tires, I used several sets of BFG AT KOs my Landcruisers and other rigs. Some of them lasted 10 years and I changed them out because of age, not tread wear. They were good for my purposes but they do get hard with time. I tried Cooper AT recently until I cut the sidewall on a boulder. Now I’m heading back to BFG A/T but KO3 is all they make. Haven’t put enough miles on them to make an intelligent recommendation.

Slice had tire flat as a pancake. Held enough air to get to tire shop. They found it. I'd been looking for a nail, screw, etc. Funny part is that originally they couldn't find anything either.
