My wife and I have had a great experience these past seven years restoring and caretaking my friend Chris's '67 after he passed away. Many good memories- we won a trophy at our local car show; I got to prove it was not a garage queen by taking it through the Cascade Mountains here; and we loved the many thumbs up we received while rolling around town here.
Before it becomes a burden and is still in top form we've decided to return it to my friend's brother, and his three sons, who lives in Mammoth Lakes, California, which is where it began its life with this guy's godfather. So we're pretty happy knowing where to find it.
Thanks to all of you who gave help and suggestions- what a great community and we learned a lot.
