I might have 2 of the 1F Air Cleaners - If so, I'd send you one for $5 plus ride (they were given to me for same a while back, and feel need to pass on the karma with one of them).

2, its from that carb you gave me to try aout a few years back. I decided to use it. I will give you a call.

Greg, I took a couple of Steve's F air cleaners last August, but I think I left him with at least one more in the wasp's den.

There are two different two barrel air cleaner lids. One is 69 only, and has a depression over the top of the carb and a hole for the stud in the center of the carb. The other lid does not have the depression or the hole. That is the one you need, based on the pic you posted the other day.

That carb takes a specific cable that has a trunnion at both ends and a threaded metal portion on the carb end of the cable. Those cables start sticking long before they go bad. I would go new on that. I know a good source too.

Thanks Mark. I have the cover for the 69 you speak of. I am no longer in need of it. I also have a fresh carb for the same. The carb is good, I think, its the idle solinoid thats messed up. On that particular carb, 1969, can I by pass that soliniod and still run? Its a vacume dealio...

If you do not advise I use the 69 carb I will just stick with the donor carb, If I can still use the 69 one I would prefer that......
