Thread Pitch size for spindle threads?

I was replacing my wheel bearings on my 2002 100 series when I ran into a problem where one of my spindle/axle nuts wouldn’t go back on. After some tests we have learned that the threads right there circled on the spindle are a little marred on the first thread. Anyone know the thread pitch size for this? I’m probably gonna have to get a rethread tap and die kit so I’ll probably have to get a pitch gauge if I can’t find any answers here. If anyone has ever had to rethread their spindle and has a link to a rethread tap and die kit for it or something that would be goated.

You can also use a thread file to clean up damaged threads, much cheaper. I have one for metris threads that has 8 different pitches on it. It comes in very handy.
Just search metric thread file, Granger has a Nicholson for $29.

Thread spec is M42 x 1.5 mm. See here. So you would need the 1.5mm pitch side of a thread file.
