Thoughts on the Decked Drawer System

I have a Decked drawer system in my 17 F150 and absolutely love it. Decked has now come out with an SUV drawer system for the 5th Gen 4Runner and the Bronco. Looking at the dimensions for the 5th Gen 4Runner compared to some measurements I took in the back of the 100, I THINK the Decked system would fit in the back with the 3rd row removed. Love the idea of being able to quick swap the same toolboxes and totes from the Decked Ecosystem from my truck to my LC and everything work the same. Priced at $1300 it’s not cheap but in comparison to the custom built drawer systems from ARB, Air Down Gear Up, Victory, Goose Gear…etc, it’s a bargain.

Has anyone else seen this/thought about trying it out in a 100 series?

Update - I pulled the trigger on it. Fits perfectly with room for the rear seats to recline fully. Very happy with it.

I think this is a great solution to the "I want drawers, but sometimes I need the space" dilemma. I'm guessing you could remove it in a few minutes?

Yes, removable in 5 minutes or less.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like a good set-up for you. Your 100 looks super clean. I'm always short on storage space and so comparing the drawer capacity would lay heavy on my decision factors.

Measuring methods differ but Decked states the capacity as 129 liters. A single ARB RD45 is rated at 97.6 liters per drawer or 195.2 liters for a double drawer system. So a double ARB comparatively has ~50% more capacity as the Decked system. Something to think about. If I was in the market, I would measure them both more precisely.

Here’s some more pictures, the top shelf area does slide out but the little side and front rails are removable if you want it to be flat. I’m considering building a wing kit in the future so it can be a flat surface from the sides to the decked. The included turnbuckles are too short so I improvised with some stuff I had in the shed and it holds tight but planning to clean that up a bit in the future for a cleaner look. The inside of the drawer has an aluminum floor with a rubber anti slip mat to keep things from moving around. I haven’t had time to fill my toolboxes yet but there’s also I pic of the inside of them.

Front runner has an option that should be similarly easy to remove and has a top slide.

This is the info we need! Nice to know there are off the shelf options. If only it were around the $1k mark. At 1300, it runs up against the Solid Wood Works and Colfax drawer systems.
