I have been looking at the 2024 LC, mainly the Land Cruiser trim. The 1958 doesn't interest me. The main differences I am seeing in pricing is the presence/absence of the Premium Package. I wouldn't cross-shop the Lexus GX550 unless it is also offered as a hybrid with similar or better mileage as the new LC. As for the Premium package, leather is nice, but a high-grade synthetic like MB-Tex would be acceptable as well. I have HUD in another vehicle and I like it. The moonroof is nice, but not critical. That said, nearly car/SUV I have owned in the last 30 years (that wasn't a convertible) has had a moonroof. The digital key, and coolbox aren't important to me. The JBL sound system might be nice, but most of my driving wouldn't be using it. (I wonder how much JBL speaker tech is in the system; most of JBLs home audio electronics are sourced from Japanese OEM suppliers.) I actually like blind spot awareness; the LKA, auto-braking and other driver assistance features I could take or leave based on my experience with them on my other cars. All the same, If I buy the 2025 LC, I will also probably buy one with the Premium Package.

I'm really annoyed the only way to get the Qi charger is in the premium package.

if it make you feel any better it does not work that great with my phone case. I end up plugging mine into a cord more often than not.

- This is the dumbest thing ever put in a car. I put it this way. Would you rather have a basement or a refrigerator? You can put a refrigerator in a basement but you can't put a basement in a refrigerator. I am still looking at ways to remove it and put in something useful.

Really the only reason I got the PP is because I wanted tan (trail dust) but because it was baby diarrhea colored I got the Heritage blue. A wrap was more expensive than just moving up to the PP to get my second choice in color. Also, the memory seats I can't live without having a wife a foot shorter than me.
