My girlfriend is studying to be a vet so i showed her this...
She immediately said "I know what that is" and looked it up in her books and came up with cuterebra or can also be known as botfly larvae.

Eric, I don't know what to say but thanks! That is still the most gnarley thing I've ever seen. I have NO friggin' idea how you found the restraint to take multiple pictures of it. I probably would have sliced my dog's entire ear off and had it in the microwave at full blast in about 4 seconds flat.
