Think this ARB locker is salvageable?

It's a three spider arb air locker ;)

I (stupidly) damaged that exact same part on my ARB , the guy that set up my third leak tested it , it didn't hold ,
he got a replacement part in 2 days in California .

Still working on it. ARB is seeing if they can get a replacement cap for me

If they can, ask them why they couldn't get one for me a couple of years ago!

Lol. DOH!!!

The part is discontinued, but they still list some in stock. Who knows tho

Well what do you know....

Arb comes through!

(Sorry drew lol)

I'd bet that you could have it tig'ed and then machined down. Very similar to a FF axle spindle repair I'd imagine.

Either way, glad you got the right part!

The machine shop I was talking to could have spray welded the area and machined it down.. This was actually more cost effective..

IIRC mine was on someones shelf in AU. It made it here on the slow boat..

I have a spare one of those from an arb that spit the cross shaft and ovaled out the hole on the other case half, was gonna try and save the arb by welding up the hole and rebore it but it has been awhile and I am not a big fan of the tiny cross shaft that the arb uses for the cruiser thirds. If you are interested , PM me and we can compare notes to be sure it is the right one, funny, the broken arb came from Canada to begin with, from Robb over on the island.

Nice, Thanks! I'm interested. What do you want for it? is it one from the RD124 (50mm bearing race) or the older RD08?
