Seems the horn is working, I just need to really push on it to get it to sound...can't just tap the buttons.

So I looked closer at the seats and there are some strange adjustment levers, so if it's Toyota 4R stuff I should easily be able to figure it out. If not, I'll post pics. There's a height adjuster in addition to the normal levers for the back and fore/aft.

I need to take a look at fire extinguisher mounts..,

Also on my list of mods:
Fuel injection / TBI system
H55F ?

I need to win the lottery....

And just to add, the seats may be different between the SR5 model and the base model 4Runner.

I think they are but I am unsure.

TBI would be sweet. I don't think anyone makes the adapters anymore though.

Everyone wants an H55F :D

Nice Rig!!

i know that rig. I saw it wheeling up Mt. Herman road about a year ago.

infact... i think i have pics of it.. let me dig around

Knew i had that pic

cruiser.jpg

that was shot in Aug 2009, long before my rig was lifted.

cheers!

Sweet, thanks for the pic! The guy I bought it from lived up in Monument and said he drove it around Mt Herman. I hope to get out next weekend and go wheeling (taking 3 online college classes has been killing me!)

Oh! I confirmed it has a rear locker, not sure what brand. So, that was a nice little bonus!

My wife had the camera so I didn't get pics. I tried with my crap cell phone, but that didn't work...

First time wheeling!

Took the day off and got to take her out for the first time! I went up Old Stage Rd to FS379 to head up to Mt Baldy. I didn't go all the way up as the snow was deep and it was kinda slippery. Got high centered on the pumpkin coming out of one puddle (think some joker with like 44s was burning out in there) but, a friendly guy in a full-size Bronco yanked me out.

Think I'll head back mid-late summer and get all the way up.

Emissions in Springs?

Nice Rig! When did they start requiring emissions in Springs? I was planning on using an address down there to get around a possible diesel swap. Anyway there are some emissions places up in denver area that might help out if you don't pass next time and from what I hear $100 is a lot cheaper that what your repairs cost.

As for TBI, Boing (forum guy that works over at Redline Cruisers--and works at the same place I do) said they worked with these guys to fine tune the ECM in this TBI system:

Retails for $1345
Toyota: Affordable Fuel Injection

Whoa I missed this post before. So you can buy a bolt on TBI kit for the 2F!?

Gonna have to bookmark that page...

Nice photos you posted!

Your discount tire warranties on your tires is transferable, just to answer your question, I don't know if I would mention the fact that you destroyed a tire off-road somewhere (if that were to happen), that might be frowned upon and end up screwing you out of your warranty. Truck looks great though, nice buy

I like that rear bumper swing out set. Do you know which one it is, where to get?

Where I got the name...

1 - TuRD - hahahahaaha!

2 - Can you spot the Dolphin across the street?

3 - 89 mini in my garage...will be up for sale eventually! :crybaby:
- put my new IH8MUD stickers on today! Definitely noticed a HP increase...
