OK folks, I really mean it, registration is CLOSED. :)

We've reached our limit on BBQ and I think we're about locked up for trail runs as well. This is just too big of an event, with too much pre-planning and pre-payment to be able to take last minute drop ins.

We've always tried to include everyone so please don't take it personally if we say "no" now. I think we've taken a dozen people since registration closed so we've certainly done our best.

Thank you for your understanding.

so whats the truck count for this year?

gas & camping

OK, so for those of us who haven't been up there in forever, where is the best place to gas up close to Gretchen's? And Gretchen's isn't Field and Forest? I've got directions to Gretchen's (284 Bonds Corner Road) so I assume that's sufficient, but assumptions are like ... Well, you know. :D

Thanks for the clarification and to Jason and Dave who helped me out with registration at 8PM Friday night (before registration closed). Woo-Hoo!!! I am SO psyched! :bounce:

A reminder to everyone,
FILL YOUR GAS TANKS!!!!!!!!
We will not stop for fuel on the way to the trails!

Dedtruk,

same place. PM if you need directions

There is a gas station about 10 minutes from there, right where you turn on to 137 (Bonds corner rd). (intersection of NH-101/NH-12 & 137)

Wow!! 64 Trucks. I'm getting more and more pumped for this weekend. Wish I could up Thursday night for the Friday run. The only tent site left when I get there on friday will be the one near crapper. LOL

Look forward to meeting the group

No usually its the spot right over the leaching field. Not sure if Gretchen has had the septic tank pumped recently.

I think you should come down early with a case of the weekend flu and call into work on Thursday night. Go in vomit on your bosses desk tomorrow and that should be good for a couple days off.

I'll just tell the boss that I set up an appointment with potential large client called Gretchen's and they need me out there to walk the site on Thursday and Friday.. LOL

going to crab my son from school around 11:00 or so then drive up. It's about a two hour run for me. That'll give me time to get situated.

Make sure you take plenty of pictures. I am sure going to miss this event.

More rain = more mud & fun. Maybe I'll need my winch on the stock trails after all. :steer:

Fall Gathering is upon us!

Everything is primed and ready for another killer event!

We've been blessed with incredible weather the last 2 years, but I suspect this year we won't be so lucky. Chance of rain all weekend with temps dipping to freezing at night. Plan ahead, pack lots of dry clothes, bring tarps for over and under your tents--this is a rain or shine event!

We got a lot of feedback last year on our check in process. So this year, thanks to a lot of hard work by your VP Sheri Becker, you will each receive an organized packet at check in. You MUST check in to get your shirt, BBQ wristbands, sticker and other giveaways. The check in tent is next to the bathhouse and will be staffed at all reasonable times starting at 4:30 on Thursday. If you arrive in the middle of the night and no one is in there, please check in first thing in the morning.

You will NEED your wristband to eat on Saturday night, no exceptions.

Trailer parking (not campers, your rig trailers) is in the back towards the on-site trail entry. If you need directions, please ask at check in.

No driving on, or parking in, the fields, except in the designated staging lanes each morning.

Please tread lightly in the campground, the roads are well soaked from all this rain and a few unruly throttle applications could turn some spots into swamps and jeopardize our good standing with the landowner. Be responsible!

Jason Peters and Mike Fox will be selling raffle tickets all weekend! We have some BIG prizes this year including Tires, Winch, Powertank and much, much more.

There will be a dumpster for your trash near the bathhouse. Pack-in-pack-out on the trails!

All dogs must be on leashes.

TRAIL RUN DEPARTURE TIMES SO FAR:
Trail 6 - Friday Our leaving time will be 8:15, fuel up and park in the staging lane!
Trail 8 - Friday "Gretchens" 8:00 -8:30
Trail 7 - Friday 8:00, 40 minute drive to the trail head
Trail 8 - Saturday, 8:00 - 8:30, it's a short commute to the back 40 at Gretchens
Trail 3 - Friday: 9AM
Trail 6 - Saturday: 8:45AM
Trail 3 - Saturday: 8:45-9:00 am
Trail 4 - Friday 8-8:30 fueled and ready to go
Friday....... trail 5 - 9:00~9:15am
Saturday... trail 1 - 9:00~9:15am

BE FUELED UP ALREADY! There is a gas station right down the street. Groups will NOT be stopping to fuel on the way out, it's a logistical nightmare. Please be considerate of the others in your group.

Remember that all club rules apply and WILL be enforced. Be responsible with the land, it is a constant struggle to keep our trails open, most are on private property, No alcohol on the trail, period. Tread lightly. Pack in-Pack out on the trail.

Sorry for all the "rules" but we are looking at 100+ people and 70+ trucks and we all need to work together so everyone has a great time. This group has always impressed me with their great attitude and friendly atmosphere, I have no doubt this year, our 10th anniversary event, will be the best ever.

Thank you,
Dave

It doesn't look like my rig will be able to make it, consistent fuel and electrical issues, this REALLY sucks. I want to at least cruise down saturday for a bit just to look at all the rigs, chat a bit and get some inspiration.

Packed and leaving in 5 minutes!!!!

WOOOOHOOOO!!!

Thanks again to Lane for the 4 speed!

I won a 30% off certificate to PowerTank that I'll never use. PM me if anyone wants it(and will actually use it soon)

Great time and the rain didn't ruin anything. great job to Dave and Sherri and all the volunteers. Can't wait for next year!!
