A couple water crossings this week *I do not like water crossings*, however I really like where the trails take me....this one especially! Thankfully, runoff has subsided....

sorry - i see these original links didn't work.

try the following links:

http://youtu.be/jLwU2Tmo_i0 (second FJ trying hole 1)

http://youtu.be/3DIWSelkQNs (100 Doing hole 1)

http://youtu.be/skPuc_yBsZo (40 trying hard but doing hole 2)

The 100 proved to be exceptional in many circumstances we encountered, compared to the other platforms. I think much of the advantage should be credited to tires (M/T vs A/T elsewhere), length (a little longer wheelbase allowed the front to pull the 100 out easier) and wieght (the white FJ floated - we literally used the strap to pull the fj down the water hole by hand). The 100 simply had more wieght to put it to the bottom, plus great traction = cakewalk.

Took a road trip to Colorado from Austin Texas to camp and shoot a video with my brother and cousin. Had the 100 fully loaded with gear and 4 people. Climbing above the tree line and it handled it like a champ.I have a new found respect for this beast!

Embedded it for you. Great video but much is lost when viewing the off trail travel.

A truly nice video. Well Done....... Although, the one spot at 3:16 where you rode the quad off the trail and through the wildflowers was a little disheartening. It's so important to Stay the Trail, not just in Colorado, but everywhere. There are funded groups whose sole purpose is to close trails to OHV's or 4x4s, this gives them the ammunition they are always looking for.

Huh? Video quality is fine for me. Are you watching it on your calculator?

If iPad w/4G LTE counts, then yeah. Apologies MtnAddict, I guess it was a YouTube issue on my end but the video looked like less than 100 pixels.

Nice! I like all the kid support. Especially the "he needs to go this way". Ha.

Yeah, that was funny, obstacle took me a bunch of tries and then it went easy after I re-aligned. Someone told the passengers to get out to save weight which was a huge help as my wife was cursing at me up and down about being easy on the truck, not flopping it, etc, etc, etc... I told her to stuff it, breaking s*** is part of the fun! Then she gets out and I bang right over and she's all smiles and whoot whoot.. good times indeed! Always fun when the kiddos get into it and cheer on their team!

HaPpy bIrThDay Bluecruiser........ One of my all time favorite trips.....
