Spent the weekend in Big Bend NP and Terlingua, TX. Folks in the desert can be “Quirky” 😎

Found this thread after seeing your post in the video thread. Looks like you LX is doing it's job of making memories rather well!

It's certainly doing that. My whole family piled into the LX and we joined my best friend and his family for a really good day. The kids and dog had a blast sledding and playing in the snow while we pulled the F150 out. We escorted the F150 back to nicer roads, and ended up spending the rest of the day wheeling with the Bronco dude and went out to dinner with him. We finally made it back home after 10 pm but everyone had a blast.

I'm always amazed at how capable these rigs are. A locker would make things a bit easier, but ATRAC does a damn good job over all.

So far, the LX has winched itself out of trouble once, but I've rescued two F150s and a Bronco.

Christmas Mountain near Terlingua Ranch. Maybe the best trail in Texas. 2200’ elevation change and I believe the highest trail in TX (5300’). Amazing views. Only 4 rigs a day are able to go and need a reservation. Highly recommend.

More Christmas Mountain. The top of the trail is just to the left of the highest peak.

Black Gap Trail, Big Bend NP. Probably the only spot in the park where it’s nice to have a spotter.
