I also have this on my '06 LC. I have been meaning to ask if anyone else has this. It is a little hard to see in this image, but you can see them, below. I have assumed that this was likely a port installed option. My truck was originally from Texas (Houston area). @weakspleen It would be interesting to know the history of your truck.

The T4R Limited is a great substitute for a 200s if you want something smaller and more affordable. Got a lot of creature comforts! Maybe my next rig? Nah! Just gonna save up for a 200 series. LC for life.
I thought about getting a hitch mounted tire carrier but after seeing how much departure angle it sacrifices, I don't think it is worth. It certainly looks cool though.
