Finally got out camping this season. Been a slow start. Weather was great in the San Isabel National Forest near Mt. Princeton. Made our way up to the ghost town of St. Elmo and then up Tincup Pass. Still a lot of snow. Made it up to about 11,500ft before there was too much snow to keep moving forward. Found a nice secluded site to camp. Finding a spot that doesn't constantly have 4X4s and ATVs going by is getting rarer and rarer in CO.
This was the first time taking out my new cruiser with OME 2.5" lift. I was amazed how well it just rolls over stuff. Will wait till I get sliders and some armor before I tackling anything more technical.

The Forest Service roads are slowly starting to open up. Easily one of my most favorite times of the year.

I swapped the wheels and tires off my old 100 to the new one and painted them black this evening. I really like the black wheels with river rock green

Viair 460C compressor plumbed into the rectangular and round slider tubes on both sides. I estimated it to be about the equivalent of a 3 gallon or so tank. Compressor is mounted in front of the air cleaner on a custom bracket and the assembly plumbing (valves, cut-off switch, air fitting, etc.) is mounted behind the air cleaner box.

Nice! So you're using the sliders as a tank? I don't think I've seen anyone do that before but I really like that idea. Any pics of how it plumbs into them?
I think that's a great idea! I was thinking about doing the same thing with my rectangular tube sliders that are about to go together. But I've also been wondering about the feasibility of making it all work. I'd also like to see pics of the plumbing.
Drove from Salt Lake City to fallbrook, California! About 800 and some miles! Driving through Arizona, Valley of fire and baker in California it hit 119° for about 3-4 hours straight. Didn't see anything below 108° for the whole 6 hour drive from st George to fallbrook. AC was on High the entire trip. The 100 performed flawlessly never once hesitated or showed signs of overheating! The icon stage 3s rode like a dream for the 10 hour drive! Although she didn't like the steep grades with 35s and stock gearing.

I drilled and tapped the holes with the sliders mounted which was a major PIA. First I drilled a 5/16 hole though the 1st wall of the rectangular tube right in line where the round tube is welded on. Then continued drilling through the 2nd wall thru into the void of the round tube. Lastly, I drilled the first hole larger and tapped it for the brass fitting.
I coiled up extra hose near the barb for future repairs.
I drilled and tapped the lower rear of the slider for moisture drain screws.

Just enough room between the tire and screw head to get a stubby screwdriver on.
These are special stainless steel screws that have an O-Ring built in. I ground the threads off on one side about half way down to allow water to escape without removing the screw all the way. Threads are coated with anti-seize just in case. After I drilled and tapped the holes I stuck a small bar magnet inside to get all the drill chips out to help prevent rusting on the inside.

We snuck out to Evans Creek orv park this morning to play around a bit. We squeezed right through the go-no-go gauge and headed up trail 520. I made it alot farther than expected but decided to turn around near the end as we didn't have any other trucks with us in case we got stuck. I am a little shocked at what this stock truck can do! One minor scratch!
