One of the overnight spots in Escalante during my cross-country traverse - Leg 1 (North Carolina to Los Angeles) . Truck is stashed in Cali and about to go out for Leg 2! ( LA up to and through/around the Sierras, Yosemite).

It's on Tolland Road on your way to Rollins Pass I believe, just West of Rollinsville.

I believe it's called East Portal Rd. Tolland is the old town. Many great trails right there! That yellow building is an old schoolhouse. Great history in that area.
