My wife and I went exploring some logging/fire roads in Central Oregon this weekend. This shot is from Odell Butte near Crescent, OR.
A straight pull on those are harder than you think.I drained my battery with truck running while I pulled a few out last week.
Rolled over 120,000 miles the same day I pulled this guy out for a suspension setup:

Hey, how much mechanical noise does your TW12 make when slack? Finally got mine installed (from a GB in 2011) and when spooling out/in with no load she's pretty clacky. Put a load on her and she quiets down. Wondering if it wasn't greased enough in the factory and I need to do a PM.

dropped it down to try and stop the sand blowing underneath didnt work..

Got the sad news that my cousin passed away up in Portland, so it was throw everything in the 100 and head out for 600 miles.
But thinking ahead I threw in the tent, pad, and sleeping bag for possible layovers in who knows where. And the camera & tripod.
Drove straight up, but headed back down after the service to decompress.
Found a great campsite in Valley of the Rogue State Park.

My fiancée picked up our 2005 HDJ100r last week. My 4th cruiser after an FJ60 HZJ80 and my current FJC.
No mods yet except for a dual battery system.
Planned mods include an xrox bar to match my FJC and a cargo barrier/cargo drawer system. Nothing major, it will mostly be used as a dd and for family camping trips.
