I wish texas had landscape like that...

I did paint the side moldings. Just used some blue tape and newspaper to mask.

hit them with some 220, then 600 grit sandpaper

primed, then painted with duplicolor "perfect match" toyota white out of the small spray can I found it at my local oreilly. Then followed with a couple coats of the same type of clear.

not only does it match the color perfect but the clear is great and has stood up to a lot of abuse including branches.

Did the door jambs need to be masked off too? Or is the trim still gray or tan on the inside?

Their natural white appears to be an exact match for Toyota 056 white

That's the color, and I masked the jams and opened the doors to paint all sides of the plastic parts.

Be sure to slide the masking tape behind the trim so you don't get overspray.

Don't skimp on the clear!

Tweaked bumper?

WAX!

so apparently if you use wax on your 100 the paint isnt foggy? Who knew?

I'll probably be bashed for saying this, but honestly if I were to take my 100 off the road and devote it as a farm truck, I would love to do something like this to it... I mean, it would get used quite often, and it's a great truck for doing so. You know it's going to run every time, and you know it's most likely not going to get stuck. It's the perfect hunting rig when you truly think about it. But then again, I could be considered one of those "crazy good ole boy hicks" that enjoys a good old huntin truck

you are just copying me :flipoff2:, and it goes on the other side

Did you paint your side moldings? If so, any details would great. Mine are the factory gray and looking very tired. Like what you've done with yours. Doesn't look dated like the gray.

x2, looks good. Do you have a photo site with more pics?

Trip up to the Local Mountains for the dogs to play in the snow. It rarely snows here up in the San Diego mountains, so this was the first time the Shiba Inus & Land Cruiser have seen snow. They all loved it!

Different world up in Alpine...

Stopped by the Alpine Brewing Co for lunch and a few great Craft Beer pints on the drive home.
