Spindle sleeves welded in...Tacking on the spindles after the bumper comes back from the powdercoaters, back on the pallet and off to the powdercoaters...swingouts wont be ready in time for oceano:( This weekend I will be installing a new Tekonsha brake controller. I think Mike forgot to send me the bottle opener:whoops:

I really hate the mud that looks like peanut butter. Had to stop by Costco today at lunch to pick up a pressure washer.

I'm glad to know the bumper fits in the back! I was a little worried about that

Welding AFTER powdercoating? Isn't that defeating the purpose?

Welding is done, I'm not welding the spindle in, it will only be tacked to the sleeve that I alteady welded

Also, petrotk40, it won't fit in the back unless you take out the two seated chair, it only fit in the back of my truck because I fold down the seats so it's level with my drawer system. Maybe yu can drive with the upper hatch open lol

It took a few months but I finally sanded off and "encapsulated" all the underbody rust I could.

Realistically I could have done it all in one weekend if I wasn't busy, lazy and had do it in the alley. Used angle grinder, steel brush etc, acid, Eastwood rust converter
and rust encapsulator. Need to top coat with Eastwood extreme chassis paint once it's cured all the way.

^Gotta love that Georgia clay...

Looks like Upper Hightower Road-Charlies Creek Rd-over the Tallulah River near Tate City, Georgia/North Cackalacka line. Just a guess...

Many thanks

A little rear flex. Maybe it's time for extended shocks?

Just got Big Black back from the local detail shop. I had them do a cut and buff in an effort to eliminate as many swirls as possible. Prior to me getting this done, you could not have squeezed another swirl in the paint...it was horrible and I have regretting buying a black 100 since I bought it 5 months ago. After picking it up today, I couldnt be any happier with the paintwork. The guys did a tremendous job for an unbelievable price. I also had them paint the grey trim black to match the paint. 100% improvement and the truck looks like it is 3 years old, not the 12 years that it actually is.
Mods since August 2011: Ironman lift, Slee Diff Drop, Ironman Commercial Bumper, Warn VR10000, Magnaflow muffler, 315 Duractracs, Megawarrior rack, MT sliders (to be installed soon), and a wealth of maintenance items (timing belt, water pump, all fluids changed, spark plugs, and more).
Here are some poser shots....going to try and keep it clean for at least a week!
