I agree. I’d hang on to the river rock one, but I have an almost pathological aversion to those gulf states flares. They give me the screaming meemies. And that 00 is sooooo choice. And non-nav, I presume? Rent a garage and keep it!!!! And vacuum dog hair frequently.
No nav! Love it

What bike racks are you guys using, I’m still rocking this Kuat rack from years ago, works well and is sturdy.

Ditto - 1Up Super Duty.

Had a Kuat on our Maxima but now use the Super Duty on the LC and other vehicle.

I wanted something that would hold up off road.

ISI rack when I need to carry *only* 4 bikes. And Velocirack when I have the full crew!

My 01 gulf coast 100 with every port add in that was offered (not anymore) removed running boards and added OEM splash guards in front. Pretty clean 100 w/192k

This is my new to me 2000 California ordered 2000 w/under 65k with ZERO port add ons. Ordered with no 3rd row so got fixed rear 1/4 glass. US spec poverty pack, splash guards in front are on build sheet ❤️ Time capsule!

Can’t keep both (parking downtown SD) can’t decide which one to keep. Like the rarity of the river rock 00 but feel guilty driving it, don’t want to put my dog in it 😢 the 01 is reliable and baselined and my dog is more than welcome! Tough choices….
Sell the higher mileage and build up the lower one. Bumpers, sliders, lockers, lights, racks. Why not. YOLO

Good looking rigs, do vehicles stay pretty clean out there on the island or is rust a factor? My dog was asking.....

If the things not taken care of it seems about the same as a coastal area truck where they don't salt the roads.
IE: Played with and put away wet style lack of care.
Wash the thing more so if you live by where surf gets big.
Drove out to watch the Eddie this year and HAD to wash the FRS because of ALL the salt in the air. There was a film of it on the car.
Here's a pic from the Heiau above Waimea Bay. Visibility is usually like that when its under 5'. This looks like its 2-3. (not local scale)
But when the surf is up you cant even see the mountains in the distance because of all the salt in the air.
Also for a little visualization. When the Eddie is on, That entire bay is just whitewash.

Just noticed...
They parked it in a "compact" spot. XD

25 bags of mulch ain't no thang for the lx 470. AHC promptly re-leveled the lop sided rig as soon as I turned the key over. Likely 800lbs of goods in there!
Love it. Here is the end result of my Lx570 after hauling ~750lbs of mulch and its removed but LX off. You can see how the AHC compensates for load. Very cool

Wow! That might take a while to extract and clean out!

What happened there? :-D
