That was a little prophetic...

So! Good news, Engnbldr is going to warranty the timing set. The bad news, it's not leaking oil from quite where I thought it was... Turns out the new bolt I got to hopefully stop the oil weeping like it did last time I had the cover off, was too long... and it broke my timing cover... that's where it is leaking... :sigh:

So, anyone have any 22RE parts around? I need a valve or 2, and a new timing cover. Preferable cheap, because I'm out of fun money for a while.

At least you can go back and fix that valve that was out of spec.

Ok, talked to him tonight. He said he'd sell the 2 valves and the timing cover for $40. He wants your old timing cover. Let me know so I can let him know.

Now I have to go pull the timing stuff.... Yeah!
