This was our holiday song, the HJ did not let us down 4000km

This is why we drive 1400 kilometers and then sail a bit: total privacy

And this is how the HJ is dumped, this morning I was going to work and in 14 days we go to Germany (Storndorf) for the bushtaxi event:

Buschtaxi.net • Buschtaxi Meeting 2016 - some information (English)

I had two flat tires and fixed them but no idea how they got punctured.
A hole is a tube, nothing special
The axle seal started leaking and dumps gearoil on the exhaust so that is something to fix later.

Added another 1000 kilometer this weekend, without problems to the Bushtaxi treffen and it was nice to be there:

here my friend stopped bragging about his Renault stationwagon because he knew finally we had some 4x4 stuff

Only the protection plate was brushed and the rear but no damage and steep slope, with the front locked this is heavy steering in corners but it drives up without any wheel-spin.

An 8 millimeter water-crossing: snorkel seems a bit silly:

aw, It only took me 2 days during down-time at work to read this-More adventures, pronto! I need more entertainment at work! Great stuff, fun read.

Jentuh I am looking for the other events, in March I was driving back from Morocco and there was a huge event in Spain:

feverDream Thanks for that, Going on a Nato bunker trip in a few weeks, next year to Northcape, 6 weeks with family :bounce:

I thought to give mud the mother of all introductions because so many forums will not answer someone before they introduce themselves.
I hate that, also hate closing valid threads and use the search comments lol :hillbilly:

Currently I am working on some side stuff, I have to fix the horn and my third split-rim slow leak, jacked it up and now it does not empty :hmm:

And decided never to use LED in the dash anymore as it does not help remove water mist, just the good old hot glow-lights from now on:

Bought a pit-bike for the children but I like to drive it to see if there is mail and just some driving on the land, ordered an performance CDI and my son is really exited: 10% more power! for a kid that 10% is everything beyond imagination :wrench:

Trying to fit it on the rear bumper for recovery whatever and make a bracket that is a bit smart in lifting: @reevesci maybe there is a market for this?

I am afraid that when operating winch from cabin I might destroy the cable if it winds up badly.
Looking for Bluetooth video software to use on two old phones and this is working out, still in progress:

need:
1 phone with Bluetooth inside cab, charge continuously, window bracket.
1 phone with Bluetooth at winch, might charge continuously (4 meter usb cable no problem), waterproof seal (bag)? and attach bracket somewhere near winch? (drill?)

Both phones need Bluetooth software: Cam Assistant-Home security
The free version is good enough, maybe buy it later to remove nagging message.

Also tried internet sharing with Alfred web viewer application but that is just a lot of data use while the phone is so close.
Still trying to find it working without upload (direct wifi), it does not seem to do that,
Alfred | Turn your old phones into home security cameras

Another app is Sysm, it works with wifi IP cameras found cheap online.

And BT notification to connect cheap android wrist watches: the phone can stream video to the watch. As a kid I watched night rider and now I am waiting for the star trek teleports!
Ordered one watch for the kids: 8 dollar and it works! :pig:
