still waiting anxiously by the phone  yeah...right...

....so can anyone answer this? I is obvious to everyone when we see these bogus CL ads with no phone numbers. What is their game - what do they plan on gaining from a scam viewpoint? I don't get it but maybe someone can explain what theyre up to. I see them frequently.

What they will usually do is contact you by email or sometimes by phone, and say they really need to sell the vehicle. They offer you a better price than advertised (usually about half) and then say they need a deposit by money order or cashiers check to hold it. They play the numbers game. When I had more time on my hands, I used to screw with them.

I had a few actually respond back a few days after I told them I sent money, saying they never received it and were going to sell the vehicle to someone else unless I sent another cashiers check.

"no "D" light" - lol

I know my D light stopped working in my 100 series so it was time to trade it in.

A few things about the ad, wasn't AHC standard on the LX470? I noticed he excluded the 2000 model in the trade option.:hmm: Finally didn't the 97 collector edition have climate control but still no rear air?

There was a nice 94 80 with 120k and lockers just posted on cl for $4500. Hurry up, I would buy it, but it will be gone before I'm off of work. My phone won't let me copy and paste the link, just search for it.

You could likely get this at a good price: and low miles. I paid $2500 for one just like this with 267k.

Complete canoes are so overrated.
