Has anyone else gone and looked at the FJ40s for sale in Holliston? They've been on CL for months. They're asking $45K and $35K for these two. There's a 3rd one that's yellow with what looks like 100 series emblems. They are all a total mismatch of parts and just bad restoration decisions. The red one has one single bumperette smack in the middle of the rear crossmember. It's no wonder they haven't sold.

I;ve looked at those holliston ones. the green one is nice. the yellow one is a train accident. they are all way overpriced

I've had my 40 for close to 20 years now.
Green one has 2 piece doors and barn doors on back. For $45K you'd expect the correct parts.
Yup it's the first thing I noticed, never mind the incorrect passenger door and what I'll assume is the matching incorrect door on the drivers side.
For that amount of scratch it needs to be tighter than what it is - for me anyway.
I agree with all of you. Imeant more for the eye appeal and condition. The yellow one is a $10k truck on a good day....
