Whoa! Don't get to crazy now.

LOL those horsepower numbers are laughable.

New tow rig project. The thought of buying a $45k+ half ton of questionable quality made me sick. Should get better mileage and be easier to work on.

Frame and under cab have been sand blasted and painted I have new mint doors and fenders to put on it. P pump cummins under 100k on it 5 speed nv4500 np205 tcase adapted to nv4500 south bend 550 hp rated clutch, Dana 80 rear end 3.55 gears out of a dodge, Dana 60 front end wrong ratio but I have the gear set to put in, and new rockers. Came with a 6 ft bed as I want to make it a shortbed single rear wheel. Dual tanks with a switch over valve, all autometer guages, crossover steering kit, it runs and drives stops and steers, heated power seats out of a Tahoe, interior needs to be finished I but came with a full carpet and sound deadener, billet grille all new lights that need to be installed, 5" exhaust, intercooler out of dodge 4" lift springs.

Yikes! 45k sounds better than that. Lot's of work, lot's of work.

That's why it's called a project Chris. It's going to Wally for most of the work. In reality it's really not that much compared to some wheeling trucks. And I'll be able to drive it every day. Most of the hard work is already done.

$45K is a lot of cash after tax. Not loving going the new truck route after my Tundra. You can't get a manual transmission on any half ton. All the diesels are laden with emissions crap these days. Taxes and insurance will be minimal on this pig.

And it will look cool, I got all types of comments on my 86 ford ext cab dually diesel, and it had no payments and simple to work on

And it's got a solid front axle! Which I don't think any half tons come with nowadays. I wish my Tundra had a solid. Not a fan of IFS. Oh yeah you can sleep in the back like Polish Tom does.

Are you gonna make project thread?
