How about this? plenty of room for the family, looks like most of your tools
would fit also. One rig that will do it all.

dayum. thats only $5k? Id buy that

For 4-5k I'd rock a chevy gasser. cheap and simple. Diesel rigs in the price range are gonna be pretty beat... ie regular ford problems, dodge rust, kids messing with them to roll coal, etc.

Don't think I haven't thought of a toter Lane : )

Though it would fit my tools it may be hard to parallel park in Boston.

that's why i got this, plenty room for the kid in the back,
checked the engine over weekend, that thing is COOKED:doh:, barely can turn by hand, starter was smoking trying to turn it, the oil looked like tar, it took all night to drain the engine oil,
so now im looking for a used 6.5 turbo diesel.

picture from 09 pig run at rausch.
PS: this truck used to be my Bosses so to some of you it might look familiar, he just got a brand new ram 3500 dually so he doesn't need this junk any more.

Stuck in Detroit. Canceled out flight. WTF

If you're at the airport, head over to the Westin Hotel. It's attached to DTW. There's a great lobby bar.

Better than a hotel bar would be to go take a tour of the eight mile road area

Go visit "hardcore pawn"

I've posted pictures in chat of all the abandoned houses around Detroit. The shear magnitude of the blight there is absolutely amazing.

Just got back. Ended up driving. We were staying at the Marriott in Livonia on 6mile. So glad to be home.

It's a 10-12 hour drive so it's doable.

Didn't go through Canada cause we didn't have our passports and figured we'd need them. Took about 12 hours and about 800 miles between dropping of the car in Providence and heading home. We really made great time.

You definitely need them for canada. that would have sucked if you got turned around at the border

because my job has taken me internationally all over the globe I had my wife and kids get passports.

but there is a more viable alternative if you just want to cross between Canada and the USA and that is a passport card.

While my family doesn't have one I do and carry it on my person all the time.
