Huh, looks like EA doesn't have everyone ... covered. Less than a week after Madden 09's cover athlete Brett Favre jumped ship for the Jets (single-handedly thrashing millions in Madden marketing materials) EA has come through with its "plan": you can now download a replacement cover (in handy PDF format) for your copy of Madden NFL 09 featuring Favre donning his new team's colors ...
... that is, if you happened to purchase either the Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, or PS2 release. Those of you that bought the Wii or DS versions, sorry. And for the four of you that bought the Xbox version ... you should know better.
Also released today: a "new online roster download" for Xbox 360, Xbox, PS3, PS2 and Wii which "features Favre as the starting quarterback on the New York Jets." Rocking something a little more portable, are we? EA advises you hit up Franchise Mode, transfer "NFL Great" Favre to the free agent roster pool, and then scoop him up "on any of the 32 NFL teams for the 2008 season."
That old man is pushing his luck. i think it's going to be a very bad season for him though I wish him the best. I like the guy but there's something to be said about going out at your peak.
Hey, birthday today and I made it to 50! Bette got me an enrollment to a welding
class at the community edu. center! (she thought it up on her own!)
Class starts Sept 17th.

for some reason just about every redsox player looks like some one else I know. like Brian Daubach looked like my brother in law Manny looked like my Aikido Sensei is it me or does Jason Bay the new sox left feilder look like a young Lane? everytime they show him on tv all I seee is lanes 40

you took aikido? we must have discussed this in the past, i think when we replaced and adjusted my AFM in the parking lot of mconalds on comm ave. i studied at new england aikikai for like 5 years under that mastah.
there are a few places here i want to go check out. i enjoyed the training. it was the last time i was able to see any stomach muscles!

everytime i saw Daubach on the screen I thought of my brother in law tommy. manny with the incrediable built body but having a weak chin just like my Sensei. (i will prolly get my a$$ kicked for saying that i trained in aikido for 5-6 years and switched over to iaido when I had problems with my eyes (detached retina and some other lovely's) and have been training in iaido ever since i geuss 8 years now. 4 years in the dojo and 4 on my own. I have gotten my eyes back in good shape but not sure I want to risk them on the matt.
the reason you don't remeber is you were trying to fend off the 2 homeless guys with alittle coffee in there McDonalds whiskey's who were telling you what was wrong with your car and giving you pointers
you should be able to find a good dojo down there although make sure it is air conditioned.
