Just did a couple days of wheelin with some jeeps. A couple on their side, a fair amount of winching and water up to the top of the gas pedal

Pics? What's their club?

Lane- you can now justify every upgrade imaginable to your cruiser to Betty. Maybe some bigger tires so you don't tear up the lawn?

Saving for the tires now.

No club-by invitation. Real good group, fast moving, hard to get pictures. No pics on Saturday due to the rain

I really need to get mine road worthy so I can make some of these runs.
Works great in the woods, terrible on the street.

Thanks I will give the hi-lift trick a try. Still have to put on the new windshiled frame on for him this winter. Might not need so much skinny pedal if I can talk him in to getting a locker and his winch fixed. But o yea that was a ton of fun!

Calling around to get a price of having 4 tires mounted. I don't even need to have these damn things balanced as they are trailer tires. Everywhere I call seems to be $40 or more. Is it me or does this seem kinda expensive?

Yes, sounds high.
Bring a 12pk to the local shop around 430 and ask to have them done when he has a chanceand Ill bet you get a better response.
Oh wait that was what I would do in HS...
But it works! :grinpimp:

$25 per tire is standard as far as I've paid

Neighbor drove by with the 70 series on Sunday, way cool!!! Still trackin down the clean turbo BJ42 in town...

I paid $100 to mount and balance 4 Swampers at a small place in Melrose and then Town Fair did a set for free.

Let all chip in for this.

=====> Tire Machine ****

John, you don't mind keeping at your place, right?

if you have bare rimps just get some tire irons from harbor freight and but them on your self its very easy...well at least for my cause im huge :p

Nice!!! Good luck on the interview! We all have our favorite nuclear facility.

Got the job! What a relief. Working the same field I did in the Navy, working on similar equipment, probably made by the same vendors. Late 70s electronic equipment, detectors and sensors which operate, monitor, and protect a nuclear reactor.

I am now seeing the logic of not driving tanks for a living. That was my original choice because I wanted to blow --it up, but the recruiter thought my scores were too high for that. I am sure my war stories would be a whole lot better at the VFW if I had been a tank driver during two desert conflicts, but in all my job searches, I couldn't find a civilian position for tank driver.

That great Ernie!
