Starting the day with masking stuff. After I get it all masked off, there's a few areas that need some minor work. Then lightly sand the while car. Then spray.

Masking is all done. Dealt with a few areas that needed a touch of filler. They put these small dimples in the deck lid to make locating the Shelby letters easier. I am not adding those letters, so they get filled. Sanding, final sanding, and paint tomorrow. Can't wait to see this thing in all blue. :grinpimp:

Been busy lately.......need to get back on the 68. I will be adding this scoop per request by the owner. I think it looks pretty cool. I just set it here for mock up. I need to modify it slightly to fit properly.
More progress pix coming soon.

Since my 69 Mustang has been sitting in my yard since the Duct Tape Drags, it was time to brush off the dust again.
I bought some new wheels for it this week. They are aluminum repops of the classic Magnum 500s. I got 15 x 7s for the front and 15 x 8s for the rear. Still need to buy tires though.
I pulled the 69 out, gave it a wash, and took it for a cruise. Then I loaded it up and moved it to my parents garage. Once there, my Dad and I cruised it around some more.
Next...back on the 68. Should have some good progress this week.

Got alittle time in tonight. Unfortunately the bumper is not fitting properly. I installed new bumper bolts onto the repainted mounts and a new license plate lamp.
I moved on and fiddled with the tail lights....which I discovered need to be cleaned up, painted and buff out the lenses.
