i just run any old 5 or 10-whatever in the winter and 25-50 in the summer. 280,000 miles and doing just fine

What's the everyone running 4 years later?

I've been running Mobil 1 10W-30 for years and just adding ZDDP, recently though I've been giving some thought to something already "zinc'd".

So what would be the ideal Zinc level?

my experience with engines is they run the quietest when you just skip putting oil in. They also get the best gas mileage then too

Anyone running Amsoil 15w40? My new mech has been using and selling Amsoil for decades.
I'm. Going to give it a try.
Switching from Rotella 15w40 to the Amsoil.
Will see how it goes
