THE best $16 i've ever spent!! Marlin Crawler's Heavy Duty Shifter Seat

My 5sp shifter pops out of first when the clutch is released, is this related?
It only happens less than once a month and has never gotten any worse, so I have lived with it.

I put the Marlin in and.....I really feel no difference.

The stock one was disintegrated too.

With the new one it is still sloppy as hell.

Spud, did your shifter have the little part that snaps onto the ball on the end of the shifter?

Ummm, I dont know what you mean and it was a while ago, not sure.

If that part was missing, then a new shifter seat will not tighten it up, because the other end will still be way loose....
