So is this trip March 14th or the 21st

Is this trip open to everyone or just members?

This will be my first time wheeling since I moved here from CA

Ok I will Bring some Black Forest Bacon.

I will be keeping an eye on this thread to get the update on the meeting point and the meeting time.

I hope my measly 32 inch tires are enough. I have winch and lots of tow points. But I still don't want to be "THAT GUY"

well im pretty sure if there is "that guy" it will be me. but if the weather stays like this, and the rain forcasted for next week is actually rain then it will probably be just wet

that guy huh!
have you read the whole thread. :hmm:
Tercel ring a bell?
if there's going to be a 'that guy', it'll 'prolly' be me.
I do have a tow or anchor point on the front of the alternate expedition vehicle (read: Tercel!)
Cowabunga!:steer:

Seems like we should just pull you like a sleigh. Or just leave the strap connected to your vehicle.

Bad news Russ, don't think the roads will be clear of snow.. But if you talk nicely I'm sure we could find you a chauffeured ride :steer:

Official meeting time and place. Next to the Talent Chevron right off the freeway, 9am on Sunday the 15th.

Bring bacon and you favorite bacon based foods. I'm going to run up there Friday and stock some wood. If anyone else wants, bring wood, cant have too much. Should be really nice weather with some easy running. Might branch off and do some slight wheeling if people want once we get up there.

Come on, come all!! Let me know who is coming so we don't leave without you.

Matt

I will have an extra seat. If you don't mind sharing the cab with a Siberian Husky.

And you won't have to be called a Trail Bitch cause I already got one (the dog)

Good day for a run up there. Didn't find snow until about 5500 feet, then it was wet and slick. Stopped on the way back down to enjoy the tshirt/shorts weather up there in the sun! Great day. If you have the time I will go next Friday if anyone wants to join.

I am in. I will be in a White 91 Nissan Pathfinder.

Someone stole My Hi-Lift jack the other day, So I will be without one, hopefully someone else has one in case I need it.

In for the trip that is. Not on Friday. I only have weekends off.

Thanks Matt! :p

Not sure what happened there, was going straight then was not.

Slippery is word. 90% of the road was clear, but several spots were still pretty covered, compacted and slick. Didn't expect to have to air down but we both ended up dropping to 12 to get past one little 100yrd section.

It was super nice up there today..... like too nice.... like getting hot wearing pants and t-shirt. I forgot my flip flops.

Soon as I dig the camera out of the kitty litter I will post some more pics. (don't ask)
