hahahahha

Waiting for the pics my buddy took that went with me. He has the good ones.

Yeah. It felt surreal when i drove off. Like what the heck am i doing in this thing again. Same big bulky, slow, turtle type feel. I was in LOVE!

Here's the best part. The 80 felt solid as all hell compared to the SMB. And the SMB had 150k less miles on it! The 80 felt tight, like a battle ship. The SMB looked like a battle ship but rattled like mad, and you felt every bump. The 80 can run washboard at 50mph, the SMB not so much.

Good times for sure. It was Epic to me. I told her twice i was sorry. Told her she only had to climb the grape vine in 95 degree heat one more time and that i was proud of her. Ah... man im gonna shed a tear. ;)

LOL Tare!

Another shot on the way home...

Dude, this is amazing. I've had vehicles I wish I could get back, but it just isn't possible.

I was kinda bummed when you sold it. It's such a nice setup and you've put so much into it.

Glad to see IT'S BACK! :steer:

You still haven't explained how you were able to buy the rig and the trailer back, simultaneously. I'm guessing the seller of the 80 was just a rich nice guy and understood your situation and facilitated the sale but was the trailer just blind luck timing and more generosity?

Oops, sorry. The trailer was bought about a week before i decided to go for getting them back! I was bummed out but i figured, the 80 wasn't all half bad. I figured i'd put a RTT and toss a Fridge in the back and be done. Well i posted that the SMB was going and the 80 was coming back and the guy saw it. He PM'd me and said "do you want the trailer?" Of course you know my answer :D

He said he felt like it deserved to go back to the 80 and they're meant for each other. He said, he'll just buy a new one.

oh yeah and on the cruiser, the guy that sold it back to me is like Jay Leno with his cars, so he drove the 80 twice and didn't need it. It wasn't for sale to the public, but if i wanted it back... it was mine.

Talk about luck.

Thanks for taking the time the to explain it Dave, sounds more like good Karma than plain luck. :)

Congrats, Dave, everything happens for a reason....

I thought you were going to surprise everyone at the M&G? :flipoff2:

Like everyone else I am so glad you are an 80 owner again.

Never mind. Just read Mark's thread. :o
