I really have my doubts any worker ever installed a round chrome bezel in the factory.........
The importer may have installed them on every one entering his country.....much like the alarm system found on nearly every 93-95 80 I have worked on, not Toyota but port of entry installed.
 
My 73 with the bar and still sporting the chrome bezel, I "lost" the rest of the stuff

The info of these bezels is availiable on the old microfishe or your local Toyota dealer. It shows production dates when these chrome stock parts were availiable. Should be easy to nail down. I supposedly have the last early chrome factory headlight surround in an unopened box. I bought it in 1999. Some collector may want it someday. John
 
Should not have a chance to rust eddy, part is packed in light grease than in a plastic wrapper than in a box from the factory. And storage is not near the salt air from the coast and the flatlands. John
