I have a quick question on what shackles to use for my 86 4 runner.

I have a set of 5" front leaf TG springs, and I'm using the TG frame tube kit. How do you know what shackles to use other than trying a set and seeing if you need to go longer or shorter? I dont want to buy a set only to find out they are too short or too long....
I want to just make my own, but I cant for the life of me find what bushing kits to order for the tube frame kit. Also the tube in the frame is larger than the leaf so i'll have to make the shackle offset or come up with some spacers....
Any bushings from summit that will fit the TG leafs?
Not sure if it matters for height, but i'm running a set of Chevy 63" leafs in the rear.

Thanks!

You may want to re-think your front vs rear spring options.

Your front setup will give you ~8" lift. The 63" rear will give you ~3.

The TG front frame bushings are standard Toyota spring bushings with a 18mm bolt. I've had problems with their bushings/bolts, so I swapped over to parts from Davez offroad. Their shackles are the best on the market (IMO) http://www.davezoffroadperformance.com/store/suspension/no-death-wobble-shackles.html

I was wondering what amount I would get out of the TG's.... They're used and I bought them for 100 so if they don't work out I can sell them again.

I have the 3" TG fronts on my 87 4runner with the 63s in the back. Evan with the smaller 3" fronts my rear is sagging quite a bit. And thats after making a 1" spacer in the rear. Im going to put in a set of add leafs next to try and evan it out.
