Texas guys who do engine swaps (1 Viewer)

It has been some time since I have been on this forum. Bout to start doing some work on my 85 FJ60.

Looking for people in Texas area (Houston) that do the engine swaps. I remember one guy in Dallas I believe that did them. Just seeing who's all out there and what options.

Also, who was the parts guy in Arizona that worked the parts department at a Toyota dealership? Real knowledgeable and great prices

Welcome back. Randy at RT Customs was in Irving (Dallas). Not sure if he is still doing conversions. I don't remember hearing of anyone in Houston doing them, but there is a shop in Austin.

CruiserDan is at American Toyota in Albuquerque, NM. He is the parts guru along with Beno at Nalley Stonecrest in Georgia. You can't do better than either of those 2 guys for OEM Toyota parts.

That was John Hocker at Sierra Toyota. He retired unfortunately.

It was Cruiser Dan that I would always get parts from. Very Knowledgeable on Land Cruisers.

Called Austin Shop, sounds like he is not doing anymore conversions due to price and work that it takes to do them.

I'll try and get a hold of the gentleman in Irvin, Tx.

Anyone have any recommendations for engine swap guys in Texas? My engine threw a rod in my 85 FJ60 this week. Im considering swapping to a V8 with a 5 speed. Any names or shops in the area you could suggest would be much appreciated!

I think Edwin is doing a swap now. Call land cruiser specialist. They did my swap, he might do yours.
