Has anyone had a successful build for a pole used for elevated lighting that is a permanently mounted on truck? I did one years ago using a painters pole, but that was 25 years ago, technology has changed, maybe not so much for painters but there wasnt carbon fiber around then either....thoughts?

Thank you, I guess the old painters pole is gonna have to work as the fishing pole thing is a little bit too gawdy for me.
