This may get shot down quickly as its my "its 2am and ive got an idea that can change the world" thought for the day.
If you were to cover all your tread where they touch the road (masking tape, etc) and leave only the tread grooves exposed wouldnt it be logical to apply some sort of teflon or anti stick spray into the grooves to create superior mud cleaning? is there some sort of rubber/tire friendly compound out there?
I know there are teflon coated wheels specifically made so mud doesnt stick... so... why not use the same idea for your tires?
perhaps too time consuming? but i know there are "mud" tires out there that dont clean well in mud so why not?
