Its a single case with a twin stick, thought that would help with the 2 to 4wd switching I do with front auto locker.

There is a stock change tray that goes in the rear near the arm rest and the cup holders should go in the front left near the radio.
 
What ever you come up with, it will look good with some red paint.

I agree. Also, ron ron, Cristobal, chiracono, charoco, amrillion, mashacara, cedro maria, manu negro, cameever, purple heart, cortesa, etc.... would look :cool: too. I should have some here in the states in about 2 months. I should have a few free scraps as well.;)
 
Have any of you installed caster correction bushings in the 80s radius arms? I'll be searching mud for info soon but wanted to see if anyone has done it. I have a OME J-spring kit waiting at home. The way work is going and with vacation coming up, it might be a few months before I get to it though!

I have the bushings and Paul has said he would fix mine but I have not been in Lafayette with the 96' yet. I do have a friend who Paul has installed castor correction bushings in, (Mike's old 80) and it drives much better than mine w/o bushings.
 
Hey guys i need some help.

i changed my brake MC, both front calipers, and pads, but now i cant get the system bleed right.

any suggestions?
 
Bleed them at the master cylinder and see if that helps. I know it sounds stupid, but I've done it before....make sure your calipers aren't on upside down. The bleeder should be on top, lol. From there, just bleed RR, LR, RF, then LF after you get all of the in between connections.
 
yeah we did bleed the MC and got some air out there and it helped but not enough, it sucks i was out bleeding that thing till 9:30 last night.
 
What is it doing?
Is the caliper sticking/ staying closed?
Pedal firm or soft?
Could be a bad caliper, we just installed one a few weeks ago new from a parts store it was defected.

Use Larry's proven method of a hose from the bleeder stuck in a jar of fluid and pump until the air bubbles stop. Move to the nexxt one and repeat.
 
Hey guys I purchased a Aisan 2bbl carburetor off eBay and immediately rebuilt it. I now seem to be having trouble getting it tuned. It will start up and idle all day long but the second I try to apply even the slightest amount of throttle it immediately dies but if I completely choke the carb and then apply some throttle it will rev right up like nothing is wrong. I don't believe I have a vacuum leak because I am pulling 19 inches of vacuum at idle. That being said would it be possible for someone who knows there way around a carburetor to come over for an hour or so this weekend and help me tune it. You bring the knowledge ill get the beer !!!!!!!

sounds like your acc pump isn`t supplying fuel .

is your fuel level in the middle of the sight glass?

the pedal was just soft, we rebleed them three times tonight and it was still soft, then on the way home it was fine so i dont know.

the air across the firewall worked back to the master.

the only way to bleed the yota systemto remove all air is in reverse aka wheel cyl or caliper back to master air wants to go up or just b patient it will with no use migrate to the highest point & vent to the master kinda like martial arts:D
 
on the IFS fronts, can you pull the half shafts without undoing the wheel bearing?

im trying to remember if its just a "c" clip that holds the half shaft in the knuckle and spindle?

No its held by the c clip if I remember right.
 
I am getting ready to buy my springs for the rear and they are asking for the tongue weight do to i pull a trailer sometime, how the bell do i know that. Were do i find this out at on the trailer that has little rust that you can`t read know more:confused:
 
Speaking of springs, mine are too stiff in the rear. John noticed this in Texas and I noticed it while flexing at my dad's. I figured they would be helpful for carrying a light load though. However, I have the truck loaded with over 300lbs in the rear and the rear is still higher than the front. I think maybe I need to remove a leaf.

I want to keep as much height as possible but remove some of the stiffness. I don't really care if it droops a little when I carry a little weight (what I have in there now is probably the max anyway). Should I take out a short spring or one of the medium length springs? It seems like I would want to take out the shortest and see how it sits, but I thought I would ask for opinions first!
