What Chris said assuming your are doing a wire feed doing common steel. So I picked up a welder and need gas. Which kind are you guys using and where are you getting it? I have a bottle and would rather refill than swap. Yes, I am as OCD as the rest of you.
Argon/CO2 blend. Airgas has the best coverage for Kansas, but we also use Matheson and Linde.I think I missed what Chris said. There's probably already a thread somewhere on this isn't there?
What size do you want? I’m selling these. Might be too big, but they’d be awesome!Anyone have a set of takes off 5x150 rims and tires? 100/200/ 2nd gen sequoia and tundra.
This 98 100 series has been in storage for about 12 years. And one of the tires is 22 years old. Flushed and running but don’t want to road test till we find some decent shoes for it.

I need a front door window for a 1970 FJ40 that I can pickup in Kansas City and surrounding area. I am in Smithville. One of the last things I need to get the project finished and my doors put back together. I could also use a clean front bumper. Thanks in advance.Whatchu Want, Whatchu Need?
Thanks for the reply. I will measure window tomorrow and let you know.front bumpers are avail new, and repo's available elsewhere. oem front bumpers are very thin and bend quite easily. I usually cut down a bumper from other vendors or run something like a 4plus etc.
do you know how tall the glass is you need for the door? I might have front door glass. and yes there was a difference in the glass height. Roll up part not the wing part correct? I can attempt to find one but it will be approx 5/5/26 before i'm back in town.
It is apx 463mm tall and 475mm wide. Yes, the roll down window, not wing. Thanks...front bumpers are avail new, and repo's available elsewhere. oem front bumpers are very thin and bend quite easily. I usually cut down a bumper from other vendors or run something like a 4plus etc.

Most covers on mine are yanked off - who what where covers?I have a 2005 LX 470 that is missing the 2 main factory under covers. If you have some “take offs” leaning up against a shed let me know how much. Thanks!
I might have what you need if you still need itDoes anybody have pinion + ring gear set of the early FJ40 stock 4.11 ratio (9 teeth pinion + 37 teeth ring gear) laying around? Maybe unused after regearing? I came across this victim of water ingress caused by a loose pinion lock nut. It appears hard to find these gear sets new, even the ones advertised as 4.11 are often 4.10 with the 10 teeth pinion + 41 teeth ring gear. When rebuilding this diff I'd like to stay on the 9+37 to match the rest of the truck if possible.

That'd be great, yes, Ihaven't found such a set yet. Will send a PM.I might have what you need if you still need it
I've got the newer fine spline take outs in good shape. have flanges also 4.10 vs 4.11 isn't an issue. I throw all the course spline diffs in the scrap bin.Does anybody have pinion + ring gear set of the early FJ40 stock 4.11 ratio (9 teeth pinion + 37 teeth ring gear) laying around?
