TAC Summer On The Trail
When: June 20-22 2014
Where: Tuttle Creek (North of Manhattan Kansas)
Where we camping?- Fancy Creek (5 minutes from ORV Area)

We will arrive on Friday afternoon and will be camping at Fancy Creek. Feel free to arrive on Saturday if you can't make it out Friday night. Bring your tent and join us for campfire fun. Fancy creek is just down the road from the ORV area.
Planning on wheelin late Friday(until dark) and most of the day on Saturday. We will branch of in several groups so everyone is comfortable with the terrain.

Saturday evening, a group meal will be provided. More specifics to come as we get closer

See you on the trail
Cost is for event is FREE. Cost for 4wheelin at ORV park is FREE. Group dinner is FREE. Only cost you will pay is the fees associated with camping which are reasonable.
Hope you can make it.
Please post if you can so we can get a headcount for Dinner on Sat Night.

One addition, Mark and I are providing the meat for saturday nights group meal. Please bring your favorite side dish and beverage of choice. I hope to see everyone OTT! (on the trail)

Y'all are bringing the meat, who's bringing the Rita's? I'll bring the terrible driving skills to tear s*** up.

It pains me to say this but I will not be able to make this trip. Wife, kids and I are heading to Yellowstone. Be safe and keep the greasy side down.

Here are the plans so Far:

We have voted NOT TO STAY AT FANCY CREEK. Fancy creek does not have showers and many want showers...and toilets with running water
Directions to campsite.....Simply cross the Tuttle creek bridge and take your first right. Follow road in and look for the group

Plan:
Arrive Friday...Going to Possies for Burger/beer/pool. Everyone is welcome.

Saturday...Wheeling

Saturday Night: Group meal. Olsonm and Son of LC are Cooking Pulled Pork sandwiches. We will also have French Fries/Corn Dogs and Chicken Strips hot off the Cajun Fryer for all to enjoy.

For the group meal, we still need the following so please post what you can you bring.
3 Bags of Potato Chips
30 hamburger buns
2 jars of BBQ Sauce
Dessert
Another Dessert
Any Side You Want to Bring

Should be a great time. Call 816-804-0622 if you have any questions!!!

Unfortunately we won't be able to make it. Still getting laundry room put back together after it flooded, haven't had a chance to fix the rig (need to weld on new shackle hangers, see about getting rear springs re-arched, and get the Marlin transfer mount installed). Hope you guys have a good time and get great weather.

We just got back from 10 days at Scout Camp and are simply overgrown with weeds in the garden, grass that is a foot high, and more to do than can be done in one weekend :( We also need to stop a leak on our 22re on the '85 before driving it distance. Please take pics!!

Hey Ryan, I'm afraid I'll be heading out earlier on Friday. We should have a good start on setting up camp though. As you get close to Randolph there is a little bar and grill on the east side of the road called Possies (assuming you come up through Manhattan). We plan to have dinner there friday night and may still be there when you get close. If there are a couple of rigs parked outside, stop in for a brew and you can follow us to camp.

We will miss you all that can't make it. We are leaving from Camden Point around 3:00, we head out across 116 hwy from Atchison if you want to come up thru Leavenworth and meet up with us. That way you won't get run over on I70.

Fun.
