here's a detail I maybe should have included:
I have dumped around $12K into this thing in the last year, enough is enough, this 80 and my 60 are going to go on the market as soon as I have them fixed. The 60 feels like the trans has crapped the bed, and my 80 has been a stress generator/money hole for the last year.
If I sell both fine, I may purchase an HDJ81 in the future. If not then I will drive whatever works. But I need to walk away from the cruiser repairs for a while.
So when the 80 gets "NV4500'd" it will get a for sale on it, and there isnt enough rocks around here to want super low gearing, besides, I dont think the axles would like a 4:1 low and a cummins.
Oh yeah and I lost my Job yesterday, so that doesnt help with the money situation at the moment either.
Hopefully that displays my motivation and direction for the project, and I hope that doesnt come off as negative.
