Saw a sweet either black or dark grey metallic 60/62 (can't tell the difference that far away on side view) on Friday about 1pm going south on Lamar at SMP. Looked like fender flares, swing out tire carrier on bumper, the works!!!

Whoever owns it has a gem.

Was late to meeting so did not chase it down.

Could of been coming from DMV there....

there was a super sweet one at molle on friday afternnoon as well.. had integrated hella fogs in teh front bumper. first time i've seen that.

I just caught this :) Thx Erik. Guy I bought it from did everything you see - but he drives a prius now.

I am going to be taking off some chrome. Not a fan of the chrome, but don't want to rush it. Thinking about pulling off the snake blinders tomorrow and the chrome on top the truck and look for holes/rust.

I need to get a rear bumper w/ 2" hitch. Would like to do dual batteries.

Its running a little rough after valve adjustment at, so going to put in some Sea Foam in the AM.

Fun stuff - love the way it rides - so sure-footed compared to other 4x4s . .so well balanced.

Put up some pictures.... we love cruiser porn!

To be clear . .

My 62 is not the really cool 60/62 mentioned at the top :) I did see it today, though near downtown OP - REALLY nice rear bumper (looks shorter and lighter than the ones I typically see), bottom portion of body has bed-liner-like stuff on it - matches what appears to be a custom dark grey (darker than my factory dark grey metallic).

Mine is a fairly stock 88 FJ62 with FJ Cruiser wheels and OME SUA.

It has some nice 4Runner seats.

And a factory Scion xB radio.

The LC has 107K miles and limited rust. It is going to be used as a family wagon mostly. I'll drive the accord as much as possible, but the LC goes w/ us on camping/scouts/canoeing trips. We support a local canoeing non-profit called Living Waters, so we look forward to taking it down to the tail of the Niangua this summer for that.

Upgrades wanted in order:

1. Remove chrome, fill holes, touch up limited rust.
2. Rear 2" hitch bumper.
3. Make xB stereo iPod capable or get a new one - maybe with rear headrests for kids in back. Maybe also install some USB ports for charging stuff.
4. Ameriguard bottom of body as typical.
5. Double battery for camping.
6. Upgraded electrical/distributer/wires.
7. Front bumper.
8. New exhaust.

I also need to have the front knuckles redone based on feedback from Molle a few weeks ago! I see some leakage, but doesn't look real bad, yet.

Edit: I think I need more posts to be able to post pics. Sorry for the links.

Thanks!

WoW! That is extra clean. NICE!

Thx! It has more issues than I wish, but that is the fun of it, I guess :)

I think I have some water coming in the driver's side floorboard - sounds like that is common around the air intake - I can't find anything underneath and I think only the passenger side has a plug in it.

I may have to put #1 on hold (them snake blinders need to come off tho!) and pull the seats out and lift the carpet, etc. I may see if I can find a professional on #1 anyway as I can get out of hand with sanding :/
