I presume this is a joke......................

Go with Slee's 4" unless you plan on playing in serious rocks and then go with 6". Sometime here in the future I'm going to upgrade to either the 4 or 6 just can't make up my mind. Oh yaa shhhhh don't want the wife to find out. :whoops:

ok just try the fact the bilsteins shocks are cheaper than the OME's :D

I thought they were actually more, but was able to find this, which looks like a pretty decent deal, would you agree?

Thanks for the link Christo, your 4" lift seems to be a popular choice.
After reading the input on this thread & a couple others, I have to ask what you think of using the bilsteins instead of the OME. How about the Bilsteins w/ your kit?

This will be my DD. I want to run 35's. My wheeling is mostly wooded trails w/ lots of mud & no rocks. Will be used to pull a popup trailer, as well as a flatbed loaded w/ lawn equipment. Will also be used for two to three vacations to the mountains (West Virginia). Front (w/ winch) & rear bumpers will be replaced.

If you were building this truck, what would your suspension consist of?

I'll get flamed for this but- Since you're saying DD, and No Rocks, I'd go the Man-A-Fre route

http://www.man-a-fre.com/pa/80series4inchsuspensionkit.htm

The advantage is that the suspension geometry stays stock - so it should handle better on road. The disadvantage is that the trailing arm brackets with the 4" MAF lift are lower than the 4" Slee lift - which might make them get hung up on rocks more. But since you said no rocks, that shouldn't be an issue.

Although I think the 4" is optimal, you can get by with OME Heavy springs (non-Js) if you had to.
I have 35s on mine and have been able to tackle some tough trails.

Is cost a consideration? If not, go for the 4" from Christo.

Stop looking under there! :D

I found that it takes longer for me to save up for taller springs for my rig once I started building up HER rig :frown:

Maybe I should edit my original statement with a disclaimer about picking up some battle scars :grinpimp:

Well guys, thanks for your input.
Just got off the phone w/ Ben at Slee's, I should have one of their 4" BOLT IN KITS in about a week.
The last time I installed a lift, it consisted of shocks & springs. This thing has more pieces parts (22) than I know what to do with.
