Apologies if I'm retreading old ground.

The bushings have gone on my LC200, on the front control arms and rear trailing arms. Toyota have quoted ~$2k to replace them (x4 front, x2 back). I'm looking for sensible alternatives, trying to balance cost vs durability.

My specifics are;

Car; 2008 LC200 5.7 petrol @ 110k, w/ ARB OME lift.
Habitat; Hot, dusty, muddy roads in Central America.
I only do 3-4k miles per year, about half on decent roads.

I'm mindful that aftermarket can be fragile for the hulking weight, and could end up costing more to buy cheap and replace every 6 months. I'm not interested in polyurethane (too hard, costly servicing particularly for these roads).

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Many thanks.

I recommend stock links. Front LCA, UCA. Rear lower and upper trailing arms. Especially the rear upper trailing arms (that sounds like the dealer didn't recommend?) as those bushings will have the most wear. Skip the panhard bar.

Here's a great thread
