rob, you rolling in wednesday night too?

Yeah I plan to get stuck 100' feet off the beach at about 3Pm, spend three hours getting stuck/unstuck and threatened with divorce a few times but be set up by 6pm...............:hillbilly:

Yeah I think so, Rob is going out Tuesday but not hitting the beach till Thursday AM, So I will give it a go, all depends on the factor of my hauler getting all the way up there, with the 80 pulling.

Rob, I will be rolling north Wed. AM. Looking to hit the beach early afternoon. Can give you a hand with the stuck/unstuck part. Divorce I'm not too sure.

I often get asked about bringing Toyhauler, motorhomes, etc. onto the beach.

By answer is similar to "you don't see cat skeletons in trees do you?".

I have learned that 8lbs tire pressure works, 15lbs makes holes.......three years to get this down.

here is a corpse... :D

with cool wheels... :D :D

and about 3 feet of toe-out...

isn't that how they all are?

for those who worry about getting stuck on the beach or in the dunes, no worries, the friendly local vult.... errr.... tow truck operators will be there within a minute of you getting stuck just about anywhere. Prepare yourself to be shell-shocked, though... :)

Or call it in on the Mud Ham distress freq. (Did we ever mention the formal freq yet this year?) but of course, you'll never live it down and will have your pic plastered here for years... so an expensive tow may actually be cheap, considering.... :D

You guys are making me nervous. Hey Rob, save me some virgin sand to drive on. I'm having visions of the sahara after reading your posts. Or at the least stand by to advise.

This just in...

Tire pressure, 15-20 once you get on the beach, 8lbs when you are ready to come off the beach, a good tug rig.......my 80 works well.

And in a related story...

Hooray!!!
WE'RE GOING TO SURF AND TURF TOO!!!!

at least those guys had the b@lls to do with the roof what we all wish we would have the guts to do with the roof... :D

OTOH, the red truck guys know more about real guns... :)

Hell its not just the strand you need to be careful. For all you novices there's alittle thing called the witch's eye that can gobble you up in an instant. Came across this fellow at Pismo a few months ago. And this is what happened with a dedicated sand machine! Please be careful! Cause sand might look soft, but it ain't!:crybaby:
