i'll be there, as i'm going to school down in san luis! can't wait to see the guys from rubithon! also, get my uncle dave in on this! he needs to get his cruiser out!

made the reso's already, now I'm thinking 'bout activities....

for the golfers out there, how about a chip contest, like from the base of challenge hill up to the top, closest to the pin? Bring the wedgies and have some target practice?

we could use an air filter for the hole.....

suggestions??

I wonder if that gray haired dude with the shot glass bandolier will be there this year? Just remember if you see him, it's the last thing you'll see until the next morning. :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

I think there was a couple of those gray haired guys with the same objective. Jack was doing the same thing over at our spot for a while. He always drives some monster miltary thing, or massive other monster.

The secondary effect of developing a communal appreciatation for sipping properly prepared and aged blue agave warms my heart (and belly).

:D

Heritage Sheet Metal At Pismo

Just started talks with the Heritage Sheet Metal Group. I would like to get a group order placed for body Panels. If we can get the group order in, I can bring all the body panels with me to pismo, for any one who pre-orders. Please PM if you are interested.

Please look at heritage's web site for parts.

I will need to get an order in with in a week or so to get the items in time. No cash up front. Cash only when you get the item from me.

The condo is being reserved. The 40 is gonna get run hard this year. Last year was the last run for the old front axle , this year it is all about air...........

Hello everyone! Well I made almost all the arrangements to make it again this year, actually started on the 17th of Sept. I’m the guy last year that came over from Chicago but ended up getting really sick and had to leave early. Unfortunately due to time constraints I am still unable to drive my 80 over but I am still very excited to attend. See you there!

I will try to crash this beach party again for the fifth time :P) And Jim, I promise will try not to burn anything you are trying to save for next year. PM me if you need help setting it up.

nice picture - I think I took it judging from the camera angle - LOL _

Mickey,

I'm a little concerned that you noticed the angle of the picture. I would have thought, *your* present personal angle would have compensated and made it look right. What's up? Are you still vertical this evening.

Seriously, I am looking to make some official delegations to ease my mind. I'm excited you're coming becuase you are my Number One choice for managing the Surf N Turf sign post. You did a great job last year and this time I KNOW the signs will stay out of the fire. :)

I'll reserve a piece of real estate near the sign post for you. Hey, did you click "savvy campers" on the Surf N Turf web page? If not, here it is :grinpimp: :

Been thier two years and it looks like it is getting better every year.

Only thing I found was folks were more standoffish than I thought and as a Canuck off a small island... I had hoped for more of a open arms greeting.

But I do understand the big city thing and hope to one day again attend a Pismo ralley.

Rob

Hey Rob,

Hint: bring a few loonies for the showers located just off he beach, eh.

:D :flipoff2: :D

I'll give you a hug either way. :)

FIREPROOFING WOOD SIGN

(Important Note: Preparation will not make it impossible for wood sign to burn, just hard for the wood sign to catch fire)

Into 2 quarts water, mix 1/2 cup zinc chloride (available from feed and grain dealer), 1/4 cup ferric chloride (available from chemical supply house), 3 tablespoons boric acid (available from drugstore) and 3 tablespoons ammonium phosphate (available from garden supply store).
Spray or brush on 2 or 3 coats.

That was my first thought but never mind, too much trouble.;)

Cheers,
Jay
